    • Safe-work behaviour and investigation of severe accidents (TapRooT)
    • Crisis and emergency preparedness, responding to stakeholder ‘Outrage’ and news media
    • Contractor management
    • Evaluation of capital expenditure and projects
    • Mine Closure – rehabilitation, landscape function analysis (LFA)
    • Storage of wastes and migration of contaminants and isotopes
    • Human and Ecological Risk Assessment
  • He has worked in the resource industry since the mid-1980s on environment community, health, safety and security
  • His experience relates to gold, copper, mineral sands, bauxite and alumina, iron ore and water resources in:
    • Australia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Mali, Ghana, Hong Kong, Philippines, USA and Canada
  • Jim has worked on land, air, aquatic and marine environments, on occupational health and community relations.
